Cao Cao

Cao Cao was a Chinese warlord and Emperor of the Eastern Han Dynasty.

He was born in 155 AD in the Anhui region of China. His father was Cao Song, a foster son of Cao Teng (one of the favorite eunuchs of Emperor Huan).

DNA studies of Cao Ding (Cao Cao’s granduncle) and present-day descendants of Cao Cao have shown that Cao Cao was from the Y-DNA haplogroup O2*.
